Passing of Dave McDermott

I am sorry to have to inform you of the death of Dave McDermott, on Friday morning last week.

Dave was an Honorary Vice President of Worcestershire County Golf Limited, following on from his long time role as a Vice President of the unincorporated County. You will recognise his name as a trophy was named in his honour a few years ago, in recognition of his distinguished service to the County.  

He ran the old County Membership Scheme for many years and in later years he was a massive supporter of the County 2nd Team and took them all out for a meal when they won the league in 2019.

We will let you know the funeral details as soon as they are known.
