Hayden Sarfo - First triple winner of Stowe Putter competition in 55 years

Hayden, County U16s player, won the Stowe Putter competition (the UK's leading Prep School competition) on Stowe School's, the inaugural competition on Stowe's school's new excellent golf course located on grounds of Stowe national trust park; all previous competitions had been on previous course on Stowe House grounds. Format was gross Stableford over 18 holes on +1 to Par format. 

Hayden won by 5 points, scoring 55, and is the only triple winner since 1967 across both classes (Under 11s class started in 2004 and Over 11s since 1967) of the competition which has had around 4,000 young golfers representing more than 100 Prep Schools.

Covid stopped the competition being held in 2020 and 2021 and Hayden had won the U11s competition in 2018, age 8, and 2019, age 9, and now 2022, over 11s, age 12.

He is pictured here with the guest of honour JGS Robinson, an old Stoic and former renowned professional and Great Britain and Ireland 1987 Walker Cup player, with the Stowe Putter, who was a previous Stowe Putter winner in 1979.

Hayden, age 12, is also doing very well with the County U16s and has been victorious in all singles U16s matches to date.
