Our 2nd Friendly of the season was against Nottinghamshire at Droitwich Golf club.
Another typical April day - cold and windy.
The morning greensomes was once again very close and as in the previous match we found ourselves losing 2.5 to 3.5.
The afternoon 4 ball matches got of to a great start with good wins for Hill/McPherson,Thompson/Green and Marshall/Depoiy.We only needed 1 point from the remaining 3 games to win the match.
However,the next 2 matches lost and the last game went to the last hole.The Notts pairing then sank a 30ft putt to win that game and therefore won the match 9.5 to 8.5.
Thank you to all the Worcestershire players for their efforts particularly Martin Depoiy and Terry Martin on making their debut.
Finally thank you to Droitwich Golf Club for looking after us and for some great food on the day, also thanks to Ian Rone,Grenville Rose,John Whitehead and Paul Newman for their support.
